Wah lau, isn't massage supposed to be relaxing?
After slogging over my blog, decided to join Jules and Joelle for Thai massage session in the afternoon yesterday but now I regret my decision extremely.
My shoulders and back feel like someone beat me mercilessly for like 2 hours lor!!! Really in pain man. Although the tightness is gone, but the pain is really unbearable. Had to sleep with medicated plaster somemore, si bey cham...
We headed off to Harbourfront after that to buy my father-in-law's prezzie, PERFUME! Jules managed to get the discount card from one of her colleagues for a perfume store located at the 1st floor and boy, we had fun sniffing all the different scents cos' Joelle wanted to buy for her busband and Jules wanted to get something new for herself as well.
Cool fact: The salesgirl offered to let us smell coffee beans to clear our noses cos' all the perfumes smelt the same after a while and whaddya noe, it works! So amazing right?
I bought my fave perfume, Dunhill Desire for ladies at less than 40 bucks, but to my disappointment, the salesgirl informed us that this scent has been discontinued. I only managed to grab the last bottle...
We went past Joop! at Vivocity and they were having a 40% storewide sale, GSS I guess. I bought a pair of pedal pushers which Joyee has that I admired, she bought like two colours of the same pair. I guess this is where I picked up my bad habit from.
Like if I find something I like and I look good in it, I will tend to get it in different colours. I noe, I noe, very boring right?
I also bought a white shirt which I felt was something different, and it was really cheap, $19.90 only leh!
Then we headed off to the Yard, by the time we finally had dinner, it was like 10PM!!! We were all starving already lor... Stayed there till almost 1am, by the time we left, the 3 of us already started feeling sore...
why do we pay good money in exchange for 1.5 hours of bliss but days of pain after?
